Sandy O's Place

I am a 56 yr. old female who on Sept. 30, 2005 had a double lung transplant at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsurgh, PA.

Since that time my goal has been to continue my quest for fitness.
I am also interested in helping those with lung diesease as well as those waiting for transplant.

I have found that talking with somone who has been there is a good way to help soften the biggest fears and to encourage hope and good positive attitudes.

Sandy, Thank you for welcoming me to the COPD Team. I see you and share other problems as well. I too have high blood pressure as well as acid reflux/gerd. I know that it will be helpful to all my problems if I would just lose the weight! Here's hoping we have great success this coming year on reaching our goals! Look forward to getting to know you better. Have a great weekend!
Kathy

Hi Sandy,

Stopping in to welcome you to the ASTHMA / COPD TEAM and to see how you are feeling and doing. Haven't seen or heard from you in a while so hope all is going good for you.

Can't wait for that next part of your story to post. You speak and write so well that it captures my attention and I just want to hear and know more.

Well I hope that you are having a good day and hope to talk to you real soon.

Hugs...Annette
