Since April, I've been working out 6 days a week (taking Body Pump, gym equipment, and walking the dogs) and have lost 8 pounds. This process takes a lot of hard work and patience and a lot of concentration in the beginning.

I'm motivated by seeing gradual results and by the other benefits. I don't feel tired and yawny at 3 p.m. every day. I don't know if it's exercise or not stuffing myself at lunch, but it's nice to not want to fall asleep at my desk.

I'm glad this site is available to take some of the pain out of the process. The calorie tracker is really helpful, and I like Spark Recipes too.

That said, I hope there comes a point that I won't need this site!

I believe that this world spends billions on diet books, pills, and equipment, and should do like the farmers did in the old days. They grew their own food, worked the land. Just buying the packages of supposed diet food is ridiculous.

read your comment on my blog and thought it's ironic that you have a button that makes your tummy hungry all the time and mines messed up and makes me feel full all the time. we just need to meet in the middle with our illness :)

Thanks! New week, new attitude! I know I can get through the week but the weekend will be the biggest hudle. My new mantra must be "if its not healthy, dont eat it!" sounds SO simple but its SO hard!

I think I slip on the weekends because I have access to food 24/7. At work I only have access to the food I bring. I have Crohn's and a paralyzed stomach so I think I just get so sick of being so restricted on what I can eat that I just use the weekend to eat whatever and sit around miserable from eating foods that I shouldnt. I need to take better care of my body.
