Grandma & mentor?? I always wanted 12 kids....never had any, so I think I would LOVE IT!!!

I rather like sewing straight lines and having a block take on the vision of curves. Love those optical illusions we can create with cloth!

Have the borders on and need to miter those corners, then into the topper pile it will go!

Thanks for taking a peek at my quilt photos. On the one of the Streets of Italy, I am just using a 5x7 photo I took while there, shooting from the hip. I don't use a pattern; I just put a background piece on the design board and go from there with free cutting and placing.

Get that photo of Greece out and do your quilt! I would love to see it!! Not to mention that making a quilt from a photo is wonderful fun. emoticon

Hi and thanks for stopping by my page. You were asking about the watercolor quilt and I have to admit it is the only quilt that I used a kit. I knew I would never collect all those fabrics and I loved that design because we lived in an area at the time where there were lots of covered bridges. We sometimes went looking for them so I was really into the quilt and just had to have it when I saw it. The quilting was my own though LoL.
