Jan 2013: A new start. My goals: logging food every day, workout 5 days a week, drink 8 cups of water daily, and be positive and grateful. My focus this year will be to live a healthy lifestyle every day, and not worry so much about the numbers on the scale.

My Goals:
to reach 150 pounds to exercise consistently 5-6 times per week to drink 8 glasses of water each day Live each day fully and mindfully, appreciating all that life has to offer.
My Program:
Eating plenty of fruits, veggies, chicken, fish, limited carbs, whole grains and not as a "diet" but as my new lifestyle. Jazzercise 5 or 6 times a week and sometimes twice on Saturdays! Occasionally mix in a run, walk, or hike. To complete a half marathon.
Personal Information:
My name is Sandy and I live in Maryland about 20 miles northwest of Washington DC. I love my work as a school social worker/therapist in an elementary school. Married with 2 college age children. I love the outdoors, especially the beach and mountains, and hubby and I go hiking every chance we get. Also we love to travel and don't get to do it as much as we'd like. Hopefully a trip is in the works for 2012! At 55, I continue to feel healthier than I have in many years. Yes!!
