I want to Thank all my friends here at Spark People. This has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. When I'm down you pick me up, always there with a hug if I need it and giving me the motivation when I've lost it. SO THANK YOU!

We just have to believe we can do it, have patience and stay with the healthy choices.

I did make my goal weight of 50 pounds by the end of May. Well the good news is I quit smoking May 18th, 2008.

I think I would have really lost it if I didn't have this site and my friends. When you know your staying in range and working out and you don't lose you gain. Wow, freaks you out. But here's to moving metabolisms!

OK as far as the bathing suit picture goes, we have been discussing things we have stopped doing because of our weight and our own comfort zones. Ari one of the wisest and insightful people that I know, suggested as basically a symbol of regaining something that we have taken away from ourselves posting a picture. This is huge for me because I have always hated having my picture done even when I was thin. But this is all about changing so I'm going for it. So thanks Ari, I love you and thanks to all my friends you are what makes life worth living, friends and family what more can you ask for:)

My Goals:
I quit smoking on May 18. 2008 stick with it.



My new goals for 2009. I am not setting any weight loss goals this time. I am however going to make a promise to myself that I will do my best to take care of me by eating healthy and working out. Hopefully I will continue to lose. It is so discouraging when you don't lose and meet your goals.
I want to climb a small rock wall.
I also want to try a zip line.


My Program:
I try to water jog and swim 4 times, some other kind of cardio everyday. Hard weights 3 times a week. Using DVD's for my other cardio and bike riding. Constantly trying to change things up.



Personal Information:
I live in Illinois. Married 23 years, To my husband Bob he's wonderful with his support. I have 3 kids Ashley 21, Megan 19, Mike 16. The kids have been so great about not having junk in the house.


Other Information:
I love to read, garden, sew. I like to volunteer, at various things. My new addiction is Spark People. I'm really starting to love working out. No H*** didn't freeze so no worries!
