I joined Spark people after hearing about it from others. I love to be involved in anything to do with health and fitness. I work at my local YMCA as a Personal Trainer, Fitness instructor, Running Coach, and front desk staff. Fitness and helping people are my passion. (Staying fit myself is a must as well!) I lost 50 lbs over 20 years ago and have kept it off, so I know the battles people face, and love to help them reach their goals.

Running is one of my passions. I ran my first 5k in 2002 (didn't start running until that year, age 36) I didn't run another one until 2004. Since then, I have ran:
89- 5k's-(PR 25:50 on 10/27/2012)
2-2 mile race-(10/8/2011- 16:55)- 16:22 on 10/6/2012)
3- 4 mile race (9/12/09-34:26)
2- 5 mile races
15 half marathons (made a goal of running my first 1/2 when I turned 40. Ran it in March 2006.)

My goal is to stay healthy and fit myself, and to motivate others however I can to do the same.
I do cardio 4-5 days a week, do strength training 2-3 times a week, and try to rest one day.
My husband and I live in Missouri. I have been happily married to Roger since May 21, 1988. We have no kids, we borrow others, spoil them, and send them home :)
I was born in June of 1965 (you do the math), but feel like I am still 25!
God is #1 in my life, followed by my husband, church,family, friends.
I am a certified personal trainer, certified running coach, and teach classes at my local YMCA.
