December, 2011 - the thinnest I've been since I started in April.
Love this! I need to print this and hang it up!
I have 21 pics in my gallery
My body is only going to be as amazing as I choose to make it!
My name is Sandra and I am working toward losing 54 pounds. My goal weight is 135 pounds. I lost 38 pounds in 2011-2012 using SparkPeople. Unfortunately, I let myself go and didn't work hard to stop gaining weight when I got pregnant. I gained a total of 70 pounds by the time I gave birth. I'm determined to take the weight off again! With SparkPeople, I feel that I finally have the tools to take the weight off and keep it off. I have been on one diet or another for the last thirteen years. The reasons I want to lose weight are: 1) I believe my body is special and a gift from God and I want to take care of it, 2) so I can feel more confident, 3) to be able wear a bathing suit and not be paranoid about what people are thinking, 4) so I look good in the clothes I wear (I want to rock a hot body, not a spare tire), and 5) so I can hopefully get a grip on my PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2011 and one way I can better control it is through diet and exercise. When I was first told this my response was, "I shouldn't have it! I have been dieting!", since I had been doing Weight Watchers for a couple months when I was diagnosed (and I didn't yet understand that it is a genetic thing and I didn't do anything to cause it). Only after joining SparkPeople did I realize how different my eating habits are now. I am much more concerned about where my calories come from and my carbs come from fruits, veggies, whole grains, and whole wheat, rather than from boxed/frozen junk that seems good for me because it has a low "points" value. I already feel healthier and have more energy than I ever have before.
I am too concerned about what other people, both friends and strangers, think of me. It is absolutely none of my business what other people think of me and I try to tell myself this daily and actually have it written on a note on my bathroom mirror. I work daily toward making this concept a reality for myself.

I'm 26 years old and am a stay-at-home-mommy to my son, Dalton. I went to college at Eastern Oregon University, and graduated with my BS degree in elementary education and my teaching license. I married my amazing husband three years ago, on July 17, 2010. I have been so incredibly blessed by him and our marriage! Since our wedding, we have adopted our feisty cat, Bentley, and our sweet dog, Elton. We welcomed Dalton on September 15th, 2012.
My husband graduated from University of Oregon, so are HUGE Ducks fans! We love tailgating, watching the games, being at the games, and of course participating in the famous "O" yell.
I am a Christian, and I believe that Christianity is less about religion and more about a relationship.
