My Goals:
To get back into running but knowing that it takes small steps, so walking off the weight until i am fit enough to run without hurting myself.
I need to lose over 100 pounds which i've gained in 5 years or so, which means i can't do it overnight ---- i have to remember that!

My Program:
Walking at least 3-5 times a week. Eating 3 - 5 small healthy meals comprised of vegetables, protein and brown rice with some fruits.

Personal Information:
Moved from NYC to Phoenix AZ and ended up in Richland WA.
Getting to enjoy it here (took some time though)

You're gonna do GREAT - and persistent patience will win the day on what is literally, for you, a step-by-step journey. Your biggest key is a standard of "ENJOYMENT" each step along the way, not allowing your thoughts to hassle you in the present, lament about the past, or impatiently hunger for the future. Every step you take as you begin walking is an opportunity to look around you, enjoy the plants, breathe in deeply the delightfully fresh air that will reinvigorate your senses and expand your perception so that you begin to notice what you haven't noticed in a long time. What may start out a chore will become a lovely, healthy addiction if you maintain that psychological standard: ENJOYMENT. You're not in a rush. Nature will take care of everything if you simply allow yourself to have fun, network with the folks you meet here, and be as supportive as you can of those who can use it. Finally, get around people who have a zest for healthy living, because the psychological "Law Of Association" will ensure that it gives you momentum. We're all looking forward to hearing about your victories, but looking forward even more to hearing about the striking moments of simple joys that matter most.
