Organizers are pros with junked up places. My little apartment was so bad once it took two days to just clear out the junk and trash. I did it with the help of an organizer. I highly recommend it if you can get over the sticker shock. But it's worth it. Look on line and find a real pro and someone that specializes in chronic disorganization, and get references. Mine even set up a filing system for me.
I just read your last blog--I have to agree with your husband. I mean, it's great if you do reach the goal within the time you want, but this is not about reaching that final number, it's about maintaining the loss over the long-term--our lives.
He is also bang-on about the BMI. The guy who came up with it actually said it does not apply to individuals, it was an approximate tool to look at population demographics. We would need to do one of those tests that actually does measure the muscle/skeleton/fat ratio to get a true measurement of what our fat percentage is. Height/weight is often misleading, especially for people who are tall, people who are muscular, people from non-european descent, etc.
But hey--look at all the healthy choices we are making. I'm trying to get away from my number fixation (way easier when I'm looking at other people's numbers instead of my own). So, final thought--congratulations on all the hard work you've done for yourself. 2236 days ago
