Turtle Power

I have been losing weight. Only it is so slow. I have told myself that it is okay because all those tiny bits will add up and I will get to the finish line.
I am 58 years old. I am a grandmother. I am married. My husband and I have been together since 1967, and married since 1970. I just finished chemo for breast cancer and will start the radiation treatment soon. A battle I will win. I quilt, sew, crochet, knit, read, swim, and walk. Last quilt I made was for my last granddaughter, ...

Oh, your new granddaughter is so cute!

I know you've been a member of "Fall Down Seven, Get Up Eight" for awhile, but wanted to stop by and let you know that we've added some great stuff. We have new team goals, some new threads, and a ton of motivating stuff!

If there is something you want added or changed with the team, let me know...I would really love to get all the "old" members participating again! I hope to see you on the boards.

I look forward to getting to know you & good luck on your journey!

GREAT JOB!!!! I would love the weather to have been nice enough to get out and walk yesterday, but we got nailed with a cold blast that actually had snow flakes flying again. I am sick of winter!!!

I got up today and did 30 mins of step aerobics. Once again not doing so well on the eating. Hubby bought cookies that he baked last night and I just could not resist. Then today everyone at work ordered out for lunch. But at least I am getting back on track with my workouts. I day at a time as long as I keep moving forward I will get there.......some day!

Learn to measure the progress in other ways... How far you can walk withouth getting winded... how many boxes you can carry upstairs... how long you can chase after the kids... what belt hole your one... These are the things that matter... and the scale can tell us not one of them.

There are SO many other ways to know we are making progress then some dumb scale...

Remember the Secret Formula...
