just had another baby and im looking to get my body back in shape- i have 2 gurrls (one just turned 2 and my new one is 10 weeks old!
i havent really recovered from the first pregnancy- i had about 15 lbs of extra weight when i found out i was pregnant again! now my belly is jelly and im ready to start working hard ( i workout alot but its my eating that i cant control !!!) i should know better.....
FEB 2009 UPDATE:
MY GURRLS ARE NOW 9 MONTHS OLD AND 2 1/2 YRS OLD!
WOW- how time flies! I am still off by 13lbs to my pre-pregnancy weight- but the good news is i am ONLY 5lbs off my pre-pregnancy weight from my second child, so that is comforting!! LOL
THE WEIGHT SITUATION: i am thinking about 5lb increments so the LAST 13 doesnt sound so unattainable. I am just moving a little more, and trying to eat a little less- portion control is my mantra!
MARCH 2009 update:
I got thru my plateau! it felt like FOREVER!! but i see weight loss nice and steady again, so all is good! i feel good, i realized i needed to change the amount i was eating since i weigh a bit less, my body needs less to move- CHANGE YOUR CALORIE thingy on your nutrition- i was eating more than i should have and it hindered my weight loss- if only i saw that soon er!!! sigh.... BUT i m alot closer to my goal! hooray!
APRIL 2009- ITS THE FIRST DAY OF APRIL-still behind on weight loss goal im 5lbs off the scheduled plan from SP tracker- BUT i can proudly say that i don't mind! the weight is coming off a pound at a time, and i know that the baby weight will come off! and STAY OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it really is a simple plan: eat a little better and move a little more! im still working on portion control AND the late nite snacking (im positive i would see more numbers fall off the scale if i stopped that ) but my later workouts make me ravenous after, and by the time i get home it might be 9pm.....so i need to eat something!!!
my big thing is a cup of green tea (decaf) at night before bed- it does help to curb the bad snacking.

APRIL 15 TH UPDATE:
ok, so i havent really given up on the later evening snacking, soooo
before my dinner workout i eat half my dinnerthen i go to workout, when i come home, my other half dinner is waiting for me, so at least im eatinghealthy stuff and not finding bread and other crap to stuff my face! its sloooooooowwwwww going, im losing maybe half a pound a week or maintaining but at least its a loss! im keeping the faith and will make it happen, im so close!!!
well, its the LAST 10 to go!!!!! i changed my tracker to give me new motivation!
and its ALWAYS THE LAST 10 THAT ARE THE TOUGHEST TO LOSE, OH MY GOODNESS! its not easy-
This is really the second time trying to lose the last 10lbs.... i found out i was pregnant with my second child, and i was already trying to lose the last 15lbs from the last pregnancy, so this is go-time!
im gonna make it work!
starting tuesday july 7th:
strict diet, NO ICE CREAM after dinner....
i have my calories in check, all i have to do is follow it!
i excericse like crazy, no problem there, im training again (well, after the next physio meeting, he will tell me if i can or not) but i think i can start training again for my duathlon and half marathon coming up! i have 2 runningraces this summer and 1 duathlon, and then i hope im well enough to get going on my half marathon...
we shall see!

NEW GOAL SITUATION for 2009:
ok, my friends wedding passed and i just got new shoes, not a bad reward- i was hoping to lose a little more... sigh!!
**NO MORE SHOPPING TILL GOAL WEIGHT**
Now my NEW reward is a new wardrobe for my ROCKIN' NEW BODY when i go back to work from maternity leave. I go back to work full time May 25th- not too far off, but a do-able goal, i have 13lbs to go! I am proud of myself but still need to control my eating habits...
Cardio 4-5x a week 45-60 min
Str. Training 3-4x a week
TRAINING FOR A HALF MARATHON- so i need to log in 35-45km a week minimum! 2 duathalons coming up this summer...
