Inch by Inch It's a Cinch

So 60s were good --- just turned the corner, but will stay 69 for a few more years. Have been able to maintain my weight within a pound or two. Have learned to eat smarter and have enjoyed the assistance of all the lovely people here. Hope everyone has a wonderful 2015.

I'm in my early sixties and don't feel a day over 40 - recently retired with my husband to the West Coast of Florida - now time to get rid of 20 years of weight gain - a pound a year - lost three before I joined ...

SparkPeople - I'm a vegetarian most of the time and love animals,
flowers and people.

So far so good - I'm pleased to be so close to my goal -- I've told so
many people about Sparkpeople and they have come back to thank me. I don't log on everyday, but I'm always checking in and will always be a Sparkperson -- I love the friendly feel as well as all the good info -- thank you!

2014 goals -- continue to maintain my weight loss and strive to become the best I can be in mind, body and spirit. Enjoy each day to it's fullest.

My Program:
Yoga two to three times a week, walking 3 to 4 miles two to three times a week. Strive to reach 12,000 steps on days I walk.

Not informing you of the changed title wording was totally inadvertent. I changed 3 threads before leaving for vacation two days prior to their official beginning and certainly thought I had written out what was to begin in each case. I also was trying to learn how to link them and did succeed with one of them. I guess I ran out of time thinking all 3 were handled sufficiently.
Sorry that it was not well notified for you because I tried. My mistake for the chat title change not being part of the announcement for 2015.

Happy to see you added me. What is your very best advice ( if you care to share) for getting past those plateaus. I am pretty close to goal but struggling this past two weeks. It's freezing here in Southern Ontario and bound to stay cold for weeks.

What kind of yoga do you do? Classes? DVDs? Youtube? I live in a very small town/area and choices are zero to none as far as classes go. I took classes for about a year until the instructor moved. Love yoga and do stretching every morning along with yoga on Netflix. (deep stretching)
