One Day At A Time

It's been almost 3 years (July 17, 2011) since I put the cancer-sticks down and I am proud of that. On top of that, I have finally finished school and am now in my career. These were the setbacks, er, my excuses. Now it is time to get healthy again!

My Goals:
Goal 1: Start working out at night...AM just doesn't work anymore!

Goal 2: Get under 200 pounds mark.

Goal 3: Get under highest pregnancy weight.

Goal 4: Get under ETS weight.

Goal 5: Get to my new "normal" and healthy weight (somewhere between 130 and 140).

My Program:
I will be using Jillian Michaels DVDs whenever my schedule allows for it.....I try to get AT LEAST 3 or 4 days of workouts in each week.

Hi there! I just saw the comment you left on the image of the 40 pounds lost thing on my page. First go to edit your page (top right side)When you go to he place on your page where you can add photos you click there. You will see the option to upload a photo, and then there is the less noticable tiny option that says "or choose from our success gallery". Anywhere you can add a photo you will see this little tiny link. Now there u have it! Go ahead and post away!

Oh and nice to meet you. Whatever you do DONT QUIT QUITTING SMOKING! I smoked for what seemed like forever. I was a true addict and it went beyond cigarettes by the way. But I wanted to tell you that once you quit smoking it will way improve your weight loss and overall health. I tired to lose weight once without quitting smoking because I wasnt losing the weight to be healthy- I was losinig it to look good. So I didnt do anything to improve my overall health. I used to try to go out and jog and I would be so winded agfter barely a minute that I would have to stop. Now I will have 1 year off cogarettes on nov. 7th and I am able to jog 40 minutes without stopping and I am still overweight! its amazing! In fact I was obese when I started jogging but since I had quuit smoking I was still jogging just over 30 minutes at a time. Please you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to take it on. If you get counseling on the gum it really helps. But you have to use it THE RIGHT WAY. I gave someone a pack and they said it didnt work. I said did you read thedirections and they didnt. It helps to get the tips from 1800nobutts. you can even get a thing for free nicotein gum if your insurance participates,. Mine didnt but I found a drug store that sold it cheap enough that even though I live off $760 a month I could afford to quit. I mean how much have we spent on cigarettes. Call 1800nobutts and they will tell you the RIGHT way to use the gum. it SOOOOO worked for me to kill the cravings. It was just as good as a cigarette and I would go out on the balcony and spend some time there instead of smoking there. Now I am completely broken of the habit. I hope this helps. Please do it. I feel that since I tried to lose weight beofre while smoking at least a pack a day I know the major difference between doing this smoking and not. It is much easier this way.
