Trying again. I am me and I like me. I have a wonderful family and awesome friends. I love my life. Except . . . this dang weight problem.

My Goals:
To be able to look in my closet and be happy with every single item in it. Whenever I reach my goal weight, I will never again purchase one single article of clothing that I don't just love. Even if it's a t-shirt and sweats. (What I buy now is what fits and looks appropriate for work or casual or whatever and I can't stand any of it - even on a good day.)
To be able to go anywhere without feeling self conscious about my weight. Like a water park with my kids or on a family vacation, etc. Gosh, even to the store.
To finally be able to play golf. Man, am I ready.
To get back on my kayak and paddle away with my husband and oldest child.
To go to the beach at least once a month with my kids!
To go and do anything with my friends any time at all. (I'm a hermit right now).
To participate more in church.
To be a great example for my children on self control.

Hi, Samantha. Just checking to see how you're doing. Have any success with your nutrition goals?

Hi, Samantha. Are you still hanging in there and maintaining your goals? So far so good for me; and I feel like I'm making progress, even though I didn't lose anything last week. Are you sticking with your plan of weighing only once a month? I'm looking forward to hearing of your success.

Welcome to the CR team. I just sent a team email yesterday. Did you get it? I might be able to forward it to you if not. It has a little intro about me.

THANK YOU !!! emoticon
Whether you realize it or not you are making progress because you are pushing forward everyday and you are not quiting....I think one of the hardest things for me was to really get started and stay committed to work towards my goals. And this past March when I finally pushed myself I started with really small goals and 6 months later all of those smaller goals have brought me closer to the bigger goals.....You can do this emoticon
I am doing good.... But I don't think my brain has caught up with my weight loss emoticon Because I still see and feel like that same old person.... I am proud of myself, I have not been this size since I was a teenager emoticon But I know once I get to my goal I will always have to remember that this was only the beginning of my journey because the maintenance part will be a life long journey emoticon emoticon emoticon
