Back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but ready to get down to optimum weight: 115-120.
I am open to ANY suggestions to reach my goal. i am currently doing NROWLFW twice a week, HIIT 3 times per week and a day of steady state cardio for 45 minutes. I also have a very active 16 month old daughter to chase around. HOW CAN THIS SCALE NOT BE BUDGING???????//

Hey there! I meant to tell you this earlier (sorry for the delay).
I got the Polar FT40 HRM. It's middle of the road... not the beginner model but definitely not the extreme fitness guru model either.

I really do love it and did a lot of research.. Not to mention the price was excellent through one of their partner retailers.

Good morning. I added you as a friend, met ya on the NRFW team, and I am interested in how your experiment goes with dropping the lifting down to 2 days a week. I haven't seen changes in a looooong time either. Hope you have a great week and count down the days till your vacation! emoticon

Welcome to the HIIT team. When you have a chance, please introduce yourself on the Introduce yourself thread, and let the team know what your goals are. Once again, I'm glad you decided to join our team!!!

Hey, I just wanted to say that I really liked your comment on one of the fitness and exercise page discussions. You said:
"I lost weight a year ago, but the first 6 weeks the loss was minimal. My body needed to get used to being fed well and regularily before it would let go of extra weight. I kept changing my excersize regime, but stuck to regular eating patterns."

Thank you for posting that. It hadn't occurred to me that the body needs to get used to healthy eating habits, and will need time to adjust. I imagined my body being kind of like a jet in a holding pattern for the first few weeks, waiting to see if I really was going to continue feeding it well and exercising.

Your comment also helped me understand better the stress our bodies undergo when we constantly start and stop dieting. thank you.
