Working For An All Star Body

My name is Sam. I'm a 24 year old student that works a full time job. In high school and my first years of college I was pretty fit and always liked working out but as the years have passed, I've gotten away from working out and quickly packed on 60 pounds. I'm ready to lose that weight ad get into the best shape of my life....I don't want to waste my youth being "the chubby" girl.

I like to run - treadmill run if I have to do but I love to go to the trail. There is a trail not far from my house which is nice. I also enjoy doing workout DVD's and I really enjoy pilates! In fact, I even did some this morning before work. emoticon It makes my body feel lean and strong. I've also stared a new workout dvd...it's the Biggest Loser Cardio Max. It's tough but I really like it - plus I get to workout with Bob and I really enjoy him!

I think it's good that you get to workout at the rec. I didn't utilize it enough when I was a student at WVU and am paying for it now. I think if I had gotten into something like that a few years ago then I wouldn't have gained so much weight. But oh well, I'm on this band wagon now and that's all that matters!!

Hey Samantha - I'm looking for a fitness buddy to keep me in check as well as support each other. I was hoping that maybe you and I could do that for each other! I have gained several spark friends but it seems that while they are wonderful it's not quite enough. I need someone who's going to check with me once as week as well as I could do the same for them. Are you interested?

Where in WV do you live? I'm on the SparkWV team too.
