starting over

i really don't know what to put here. i'm 46 and weigh 318 lbs. my knees started giving out on me so i thought it was time to get healthy so i can keep walking and not use a cane.

my goal is to lose 100 lbs by dec 29,2009 one year from the day i started spark people. i'm doing really well so far. this time i feel i will make it

My Program:
watching what i eat and eatting at least 3 times a day. i walk my dog a few times a day for a few minutes. other then that i still eat sweets when i really want them just watch how much

I am sure you are satisfied with your progress, despite the fact you may not make 100 lbs. I thought I could lose 4 pounds a week, and I am thus adjusting my goals too. I wish my father would make the commitment you have! It's inspiring me!

SAM5050,In response to your message board post on pizza,really listen to what everyone had to say.You have it when YOU'RE ready.And add that apple,salad, and water.You can't deprive yourself!Good Luck on your weight loss journey!
