My Goals:
I want my body to be at its healthiest. I don't like having an unhealthy body. I love being physically active and I hate be held back by my size. There are a lot of things that I love to do, but can't because of my size. I don't want to feel ashamed of the way I look. I want to look in the mirror and say "I am sexy and I am fabulous!"

My Program:
Right now I am just focusing on exercising every day. Since I live in a college dorm the available food isn't the healthiest. I prefer to work out to videos or with others instead of working out in a gym so I will be doing video workouts several times a week.

Personal Information:
Well, let's see here...I'm 20 years old. I have no children, no husband, no boyfriend, but some great friends who I love more than anything. I love being sponaneous and having fun. I love spending time with my friends more than anything. I live in a dorm with my BFF at EIU and I'm loving it there.

Other Information:
As far a weight gain goes I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. My family is average sized and I'm not really sure why I was always so much bigger. I gain weight very quickly and I need to stay consistent in order to just stay at my weight.

Hi, Katherine! Welcome to the Never Been Skinny Team! First of all, seriously, congratulations for making this step, and while you're young, that's so fabulous. I was really touched by what I read on your page, and all I have to say is STAY. Stay on SparkPeople, stay on your teams. Don't let your home situation pull you down. Yes, it's going to be hard, especially without the home support, but you can do it. There are so many people here who are married and have the family situation of no support, and they do it. You DESERVE this. You deserve to feel happy and light and cared about, and believe me, you will. You are not pathetic for failure in the past. You didn't have the right tools to succeed, and if it was a diet instead of a lifestyle change, you weren't set up for success anyway. I am really looking forward to hearing from you on the group, and I hope you'll jump into a challenge or a topic and start posting. We are there to support you, and if you need anything at all, please let me know. I am so excited for this next part of your life, and you are going to make it great! I wish you all the best!

Hi Katherine, Just wanted to say welcome....... You picked a wonderful place to start...... I love it here!!!! It has loads of resources and wonderful friends to help you along the way..... So, don't be shy, jump right in with both feet and hold on for the ride to your weight loss freedom!!!! I would suggest you find a weight loss buddy if you tend to give up easy. HELLO THERE, CLASS OF JUNE 8 - 14!!

Welcome to Sparks!!

Dont get over whelmed with all the info you will see today.. RELAX grab a bottle water and READ as much as you can. It took me a good week or two get really get a grasp of things.. So take your time there is no rush.

Do remember that, there will be days that you will fall down and thats ok, just get back up and dust your self off (BUT DONT STOP
Baby learned how to crawled before they walked, thats what we are doing on this diet...

Nothing will get in your way, you are going to be a GREAT LOSER!

YOU ARE NEVER ALONE on this diet there is always someone online..to help you out or just chat about something or even if you want to vent.

Most important DRINK YOUR 8 CUPS of WATER....YOU CAN DO THIS I SEE YOU HEALTHY ALREADY!! Dont forget to HUDDLE!
