Hi Everyone! I started SparkPeople in August of 2009 with the goal of losing that stubborn 10 pounds that I struggle with every year. I didn't actually start doing anything about it until 2010, and then in march, I started doing P90X. Now I have completed one full round of the workout, made it part way through another round and then changed my workout to include running and pilates like workouts.

My hubby and I moved to Florida in September of 2010 and plan on spending a year or so on the ocean and enjoying some warmer weather. Life has been really great to me and I just have to remind myself every day to make healthier and smarter choices so that I can continue to enjoy all that I have in my life!

My Goals:
~ Lose 10-15 pounds
~ Eat healthier, switch to organic meats and vegetables
~ Gain back some muscle tone

My Program:
My program varies alot. Currently I've been running a few times a week and doing the Physique 57 dvds on varying days. I eat very clean and stay within my calorie ranges 99% of the time.

Personal Information:
Over the last year we have lived in several different states. Currently we are back in Colorado but may be leaving again soon.
My job allows me to telecommute so I go along with my hubby to where ever he needs to be!

Other Information:
I really want to get down a couple of sizes. I've always had some curves and I don't want to lose those, just make them a bit more proportional.

Hey! Thank you so much for your comment on my blog! I know there's other people out there in my shoes but it's SO nice to hear from one of them. Completely agree that it's so frustrating dealing with a grown child! He's helpful if I nag long enough. However, the busier I am - the easier it is to get him to help. So as counter intuitive as it seems, maybe taking more time to work on myself would help things. Mostly I fear it'll mean more stress for me. Only time will tell but apparently I'm horrible at figuring out how to juggle it all! Best wishes in YOUR journey!

Thanks for the comment! I plan on stopping counting calories once I get the feel for my new nutrition plan. It makes much more sense to eat intuitively!

I started running almost 3 years ago, after I lost weight, actually. It's definitely helped me keep it off, though! Every Winter, I say I'm going to focus more on strength training since it's harder to get outside to run, but this year I'm finally doing it! I'm looking forward to seeing how it affects my running in the Spring.

Here's my reward music list: Girl Talk "10 in Step", Benassi Bros "Feel Alive", Die Antwoord "$O$", C+C Music Factory "Gonna Make You Sweat", Nelly Furtado "Say It Right (remix)", Rihanna "Don't Stop the Music", Keane "Is It Any Wonder?", pretty much anything by the Kaiser Chiefs, The Editors "An End Has A Start", OneRepublic "All The Right Moves". Shape also has some good workout mixes on iTunes.

Hope this gives you a few good ideas. :)
