Lucky Number 2013!

Hi! I'm sagamore, a perennially overworked NYC professional who is planning to get in the best shape of my life this year! I work long hours and have a serious commute, so sometimes I have to fit my workouts in very late at night. I love exercising but sometimes have trouble controlling my food intake because of my hours and also because I eat when I'm stressed out . . . which is often.

Hi! I'm sagamore, a perennially overworked NYC professional who is planning to get in the best shape of my life this year! I work long hours and have a serious commute, so sometimes I have to fit my workouts in very late at night. I love exercising but sometimes have trouble controlling my food intake because of my hours and also because I eat when I'm stressed out . . . which is often.

I also have chronic asthma, and while it's under control most of the time, occasionally it likes to pop back up and remind me who's boss. I make sure to check in with my doctor at least once a year and discuss my exercise and asthma treatment plans with him.

I put pictures of my honeymoon up here not only because I love my wonderful husband :) but because I was around my goal weight and feeling terrific. Only 5 pounds away . . . I'll be there soon!

2009 Goals: I want to take up Pilates and work on my strength/flexibility. I also hope to run a few more local road races, and break 27 mins for a 5K. Looking forward to meeting other people and motivating each other!

Aloha, I am an Azurita from Azure Destinations. I am so glad you have signed up for BLC21!

I have been in BLC for 11 of last 13 rounds. I am hypothyroid, so I have lots of trouble losing and keeping my weight off. I am 58, knocking on the 60s, and want to be able to be healthy enough to do all the traveling and adventuring I have wanted to when I retire.

I am here to emoticon you to BLC21 and be a help if yro need any. Hope you meet lots of new firends along the way. This BLC is filled with persons from around the globe and porbably all 50 states. It is exciting to learn what people eat and how they exercise in different areas.
