Looking for a change.....a better me.

Your comments given with the sun tan article were really touching. Your description of the treatment should wake up anyone that has been lackadaisical about sun exposure. Thanks for writing it, I'll bet it has an impact on many people..

Yes the moles are going out for biopsy. It usually takes 2 + weeks to get the results. So I'm trying not to think about it too much or else I'll go crazy! The moles I have are slow growing ones. But they have melanoma cells in them. I had the doctor check my back for moles, and she ended up blasting a couple of moles on my back with the cryo spray to freeze them off. She wants me to come in every 4 months for mole checks.

Was your birthmark in a place where you could see it? I'm so glad you are doing well, and all the best to you.

Hi, I just had 2 moles taken off my face a couple of days ago. The dermatologist said in 30 years of practice she has never seen the kind of moles I get. They are like little black freckles that start growing. The one on my leg was positive for melanoma, but it didn't go outside the mole. These "moles" are very flat, black, and just plain weird.

Just wondering what your experience was. I'm so glad you are ok now.
