Intend to Lose.......

I am a 65 yr, old, married, retired, woman who loves animals, enjoys X-stitching, reading, and spending time with family - especially my grandchildren. I need to lose weight to improve my health and, honestly, out of a degree of vanity - and it is a struggle.

My Goals:
My first goal is to be consistent about tracking what I consume and how much exercise I do. As a result, I hope to lose one half pound per week at minimum.

My Program:
I have joined the local Y and use their fitness center - right now I m using the treadmill with some consistency.

Personal Information:
I live in Maine. I am married, have 3 adult children, and 5 grandchildren. I am an animal lover and have 4 cats (though we have also had dogs in the past, our last dog died last Spring).
