I have struggled with my weight my entire life. When I graduated high school, I weighed 225. I got down to 180 in undergrad, but a boyfriend told me that I was fat, and I was crushed. So of course I ate my way to 293 lbs. I got back with that boyfriend after Desert Storm (some of us never learn), and went down to 178 lbs. So of course I ate my way to 293 lbs. I got back with that boyfriend after Desert Storm (some of us never learn), and went down to 178 lbs. His mother said she didn't notice a difference in my size...we ended our relationship, and I ate my way back to 285 lbs. And then in January of 2007, I decided that I wanted a different life. I wanted to try new things...roller skating, skiing, latin dancing, laying out at the beach...but of course I couldn't because I was too embarrassed by my size. I vowed to myself that I would begin to take care of me so that I could enjoy the life God had designed for me.

I lost about 50 lbs over the course of two years, and then my sister was murdered by her husband of 19 years...and I ate my way back up to 287. In March of this year (2013) after many failed attempts and ups and downs on the weight loss roller coaster, I decided that it was time to get back on track.

Progress has been slow...but at least the needle on the scale is moving in the right direction. I feel that this is my year....and I am excited about the person that I am becoming. In the words of Jennifer...I'm changing...

My Goals:
I weighed in July 20 at 265ish (Dr. Office) I would love to be a size 18 and 225 by Christmas. Then 165 by June 2, 2015.

My Program:
Exercise 45 - 60 minutes (cardio) 4 days a week. Two days of strength/resistance training.
I am eating 3 meals and two snacks a day. Minimize white foods.
