Journey to Health

My journey started January 2012 and since than I have lost a total of 65 lbs. I am happier and healthier person but I still want to lose another 60 lbs by the end of 2013.

I know that many people could probably have lost 120 lbs in a year and honestly I probably could have aswell had I been more strict with my calories and also with my exercise but I took a more realistic approach to my journey. I beleive that because I changed my lifestyle slowly rather then just going on a diet ...

I beleive that because I changed my lifestyle slowly rather then just going on a diet and exercise program that I will be able to keep the weight off for good. There wont be any old habits to slip back into because my new habits will have been with me for over 2 years. I will always have sme time to exercise because I have made room to do this in a way that balances my day not infringes on other things.

This is how I think that this time I am in this to the end and that I will reach my goal and possibly go further but I am letting my body decide that. Realisticly I would like to lose another 60 lbs but ultimately my goals are based more in exercise now than weight loss.

I would like to run a 10k and start crossfit or possibly kickboxing. I would like to go swimming more often and buy a bicycle this summer so the hubby and I can exercise together.

I will succeed because I am driven and because I believe in the way I hae been living my life.

My Goals:
In 2012 I reached a weight of 200 lbs. I successfully reached a goal of jogging 30 min. I did 1 whole 30 and kissed my sugar cravings good buy.

In 2013 I hope to lose another 60 lbs. I plan on either starting crossfit or kick boxing.


My Program:
Diet : Paleo / low sugar

Exercise:

Jog 30 min / 6x wk

Jillian Michaels Body Revolution 6x wk

Walk dogs 4x week (60min)

Apr: 10 lbs

May: 10 lbs

Jun: 10 lbs

Jul: 8 lbs

Aug: 8 lbs

Sept: 4 lbs

Oct: 4 lbs
