Quotes from my blogs:
"It's time to take control of my life back. No one can do this for me. The transformation is not going to happen magically. It's going to take a lot of hard work, consistency, awareness, and deliberate choices on my part. If I stick with it, I will get there."

"...as long as I stick to the nutrition plan... and get in my strength training and cardio most days, there is just no way for my body to support its current weight of 190+. If I stick to the plan long enough, I'll get to my goal. It's a scientific fact. All I need to do is stay with this and not give up in frustration or from the inability to say no to myself."

"The past is the past, the present is what I control, and the future will come from my current actions."

-Feel younger again
I will exercise most mornings with a minimum of 4 mornings a week.
I log my food and try to keep it nutritionally balanced - 1300-1600 calories aiming for 1500
I live in Temecula, CA and work in Riverside.
I am married with two children (a son born in Aug '04 and a daughter born in May '06).
I've succeeded in losing weight and getting into amazing shape before, but a tripple injury took me out of my happy routine. At first the weight didn't come back on, but once it did I slid back to where I am now... struggling to get my feet back under me and get back to where the healthy activities and eating are daily habits. I currently have Achilles Tendonitis that I want to get rid of by 12/13

Hi! Not sure if you remember me...we met at a picnic/workout Leah put together in Rancho Bernardo several years ago. I was just reading your recent blogs and realized you must liver very close to me. I am a member of MRTT too (although I haven't been running much lately). Hopefully we will run into each other soon:-)

Hi there! Thanks for your reply/input - I was afraid you'd give me numbers like that ...
However ... in the past few days, I've been struggling with a painful cough and that has cut my appetite so it's not been too difficult to get there. Once again, paying attention to what's in the fridge, the food intolerances and making myself No.1 in my life just might make all the difference!
You seem to be going a sustainable route this time, and not so tough on yourself ... that's great! Well done
