Shedding The Past

My name is Stephanie. I have been overweight for as long as I can remember, and the last year was full of some big changes. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me, and use this tool in a way that will not only help me lose weight, but completely alter my way of living.

I know how you feel. The scale did not go down for me last week so I got frustrated and ended up having a small binge because of it...on Sunday AND yesterday! I was not happy with myself. So this morning I wrote out my whole plan for the day that way I do not mess up at all today.
I will be super busy today so I wont have time to munch, thank goodness. Because like you, I have been in the mood to munch on snacks. I am not big into sweets, so that is the easiest thing for me to get rid of, but salty things like crackers, breads and cheeses are what I have been wanting lately.
I am hoping that my 2 days of messing up wont hurt my weigh in this week. I am tired of being in the 270's but I know I have at least a couple more weeks before I get out of the 270's.
You deserve to be complimented :) you have done an amazing job. I guess we struggle no matter how much weight we lose, but you/WE can do this :)

Oh you should definitely see yourself as an inspiration. Especially to women like me who have been overweight their whole life! I have no idea what it feels like to be thin, so seeing that someone can do it that has been overweight their whole life (or majority of it) makes me have confidence that I can do it too. I just really need to keep working hard. I feel like I am at the point where it is now or never.
