Hi Marki & TGIF!!

My week started in a funk but I turned it around. Not so much with fitness classes but I ate pretty clean and I feel great. I even lost a couple of stubborn pounds this week. My hubby and I are going to dinner with friends tonight and I'm stressing a little as to what I am going to eat without sabotaging my progress.

*I'm not too educated on "clean eating" but I'm trying to eat mostly fruits, veggies, proteins and nuts.

I look forward to getting one of the Paleo/Whole30 books. I may not committ to do the Whole30 but my goal is to *eat clean as much as I can. I think I can manage that best right now having a household of four. Whole30 may be down the road but educating myself on nutrition and learning how certain foods make me feel is a great start.

I don't have Netflix but would love to watch those movies. I tried to find them On Demand but they are not listed. I'll keep a watch out for them. There should be a health and wellness channel for movies/documentaries such as this.

I would miss similar things to you. Why black beans though? See, this is why I need to read. In the past year I've transitioned to cooking with spices more so than condiments/sauces but there is always room for improvement.

PT is going well and I've learned that I am a complex case. My therapist is on the cusp of determining if my problem stems from the foot up or from the hip down. Meanwhile she recommended new running shoes so I will add that to my list this weekend as well.

I'm looking forward to Barre class tomorrow morning!
No funks allowed!
