On 10/10/10 I renewed my diet and exercise commitment. My doctor said I need to lose some weight to keep my heart healthy. I started back in 2006 and made a number of lifestyle changes. I lost about 10lbs. Now I want to shed the last 15lbs.

1/29/13 I'm getting closer to my goal weight. I have only been making changes that I'm willing to live with on a long term basis. I'm a bit stubborn so that's probably why it's been taking me longer. I'm more consistent with my workouts. Which was a big huddle for me. I'm more aware of the food I eat. In October I starting tracking my meals on SP. It was a big eye opener. I always thought I did pretty well in that department. I would like to make more "like minded" friends in my area. It would be fun to have someone to do more active things with.

11/18/15 I'm struggling to lose 10lbs. But I'm determined to push through. Recently purchased an iWatch which is extremely helpful. I know what I need to do. I just need to do it!

My Goals:
Fitness Goals:
-Run in an official 5K (I can run it I'm nervous about being slow in an actual race)
-Workout 45min x5/wk (I need to be more consistent)
-Strength train 15min x2/wk
-I've mastered my morning routine. Now I need to work on my evening routine.

Diet Goals:
-Incorporate more veggies into more meals.
-Keep easy to make meals on hand to avoid eating out.
-Learn to manage stress by stepping away from the kitchen



My Program:
I workout in the morning for 45 min 5 days a week.

My favorite workouts are with Leslie Sansone and Jessica Smith. I also enjoy kettlebell workouts, pilates, and kickboxing.

DVDs are my no excuse workout. I look for the ones that are fun and challenging.

I only have cookbooks that have the nutritional values listed. I plan out menus. The SP app reminds me to track food. When life is busy I plan easy to make healthy meals.

Bought an iWatch Oct 2015. What a revelation of information. I know I need to work on increasing my active calories and steps.



Personal Information:
I enjoy biking, walking in our town, hiking, road trips, boating, reading, movies, historic siteseeing, going to community events, and learning to cook.

I had been extremely faithful to my workout regimen and then I injured my back (I have no idea how.) and I was totally out of commission until today. I am back though...
