A Little Sweat Ain't Neva Hurt Nobody

In October 2013, I accepted that I would not be spending my Saturday mornings as I had hoped… I had to find some other way to occupy myself. Naturally, I registered for several distance races. My goal at the time was to complete a different race every week for 13 weeks straight. That didn't quite happen, but I'm still running as many races as I can. For now, it looks like 2 per month (one being a half). Someday I'll run 13 weeks straight. 26 weeks would be great. 52 weeks would be awesome! ...

Hey there!

You are WIRED on the great poetry front grrl! Rumi...Hafiz...Nye -- YES! You really should consider subscribing to Panhala, Joe Riley's weekdays poetry subscription. I've subscribed for a few years now...and I'm NEVER disappointed (except when he takes breaks LOL)!!! I have turned SO many friends on to this as well. This will give you an idea of the kind of poetry he shares, although the archives have not been updated since the end of 2011: http://www.panhala.net/Archive/ And as you can see at the bottom of that page, to subscribe you send an email to: Panhala-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Does SPeople notify you when someone comments on your blogs? I commented on some of them...but I'm particularly thinking of one that I posted a poem on...?

Thank you for stopping by my page regarding my comment on the article Eat More Often, Lose More Weight. It's so so true though isn't?! Sometimes I despair at the things I read in Spark articles, and what they recommend people to eat. It's so backward to me. After all we've learnt, why would you chose 150 calories from fruit juice, rather than 50 calories eating the real fruit??!! So weird to me.
Anyway, hope you're having a blessed day :-)

Hi, I saw your post on the Chalean Extreme Forum about using bands and was wondering if you decided to try them? If you aren't pleased with using those maybe you can try using household items as weights buy or find some bricks (use gloves to protect your hands),really heavy books, giant jugs of water or laundry detergent. When you use the detergent up just refill it with water. You can also use the plastic storage containers. Make sure they are the kind with handles and the plastic side locks. Buy two and just fill them with heavy stuff then make sure they are securely closed even if you have to use tape to be extra safe. Sometimes you can get those boxes at the dollar store.

By the way I love your hair. Good luck and keep up the good work!
