I just had my second baby in January, so now I'm hitting the diet & exercise hard once again. Still recovering from a rather difficult delivery with some embarrassing side effects, but I've added some serious supplements under the guidance of my naturopath. Hopefully things will start looking up! Hitting or exceeding 10,000 steps every day, too.
I struggled with weight all my life, then I got very fit in my early 20s. After a cross-country move, a hormone treatment (that caused a 70lb gain in 6 mos), & 2 babies, I'm the largest I've ever been, & I hate it. I was finally starting to lose some weight when I got pregnant with baby #2. Surprise! Now that I have my body back (sort of...we EBF), I'm excited to start exercising again & see what this ol' body of mine can do. I would really love to be fit & fabulous again!
Main goal: Lose 100 pounds
Initial big goal: Lose 30 pounds by May 2012
Initial small goal: Wear my wedding rings again by April 2012
Tracking calories (approx. 1800 cals per day while exclusively breastfeeding)
Eating healthy, organic, & whole foods
Exercise: 45 mins a day/6 days a week (Curves, Zumba, Wii, & treadmill)
Currently living in New Mexico, but originally from the Midwest. Former fitness trainer who was very proud of my body. Proud mommy who is determined to lose all this weight...again. Just gave birth to Baby #2!!!
