Feeling Great Now That I am Wheat Free!

I learned that I had a wheat allergy and finally decided to give it up for good. That was about 3 months ago and I have never felt better! No more headaches, unexplained rashes, bloating, nausea, and exhaustion!

I decided to avoid the gluten free breads and pastas and just do a low carb diet. I have been losing weight and I am "appropriately" hungry. I used to be hungry all the time - It's so nice to not have food rule my life for a change!

My Goals:
My goal is to eat only healthy foods that are good for my body.

My Program:
I will eliminate sugar (other than naturally occurring sugars in fruits and veggies). I will also eliminate starches such as white bread, regular pasta, white rice, and potatoes. I will replace with whole wheat bread/pasta and brown rice.

Personal Information:
Currently I am working as a independent contractor and going to school full time. I spend a lot of time studying and this means sitting for long periods of time and always wanting to munch! This is why walking each day is so important. It gets me moving and gets my mind off of food (for a little while... )

Other Information:
Albert Einstein Quote: We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

I think this quote is very fitting for weight loss.

Love your profile picture! My sister in law's dog Bruno could be your Annie's twin (I have a picture of him with my daughter in my photo's). I also have a chihuahua - who loves to spend time with the big dogs! emoticon
