I have never finished a run and said: Man, I wish I would have slept in.

I have been apart of this site since 2006 . Now I am back everyday. I ran/finished Boston in 3:45:48. Despite everything, I had a great experience and will be going back. I just started running marathons in 2011 so to get to Boston was something I never thought possible.

This site keeps me aware of what I am putting in my mouth and how often I am pounding the pavement. As a mother of a preteen, I am trying to show her how much fun it is to exercise. Although, it seems that she ...

This site keeps me aware of what I am putting in my mouth and how often I am pounding the pavement. As a mother of a preteen, I am trying to show her how much fun it is to exercise. Although, it seems that she has caught the running bug. I just want her to continue to enjoy it.

I grew up overweight and was overweight until my mid twenties. I am finally becoming happy with me and I am trying to show my kids that it doesn't matter the number on the scale but what how you feel about yourself.

Thank you for your Boston Blog! You're an excellent writer. As I mentioned in the blog's comments, you did a great job capturing the emotions. I hope your Post-Marathon work is going well...maybe catch you in Boston some year.

Congratulations on finishing Boston! I can't imagine the craziness of actually being there during all the chaos. I am thankful that you were done and out of harm's way, and sincerely hope that you are doing ok after all that transpired after...
I did finish Combat! I loved the program-- just so fun, while still being intense. I am doing another round of Insanity now, with a few Combat workouts thrown in.
Good luck with your next adventures!

Saw your comment on Sparky Marathoners about running Boston. I too ran it for the first time. I hope you post a blog about your experience. Feel free to read mine. I was struggling to finish after trying to get caught up in training after a Hamstring injury months before the event.

Saw you just finished Insanity and are going to do Combat next. Way to go!!!I just finished my 2nd round of Insanity and I am on week 2 of Combat. I think you will love it! Very fun, very intense...and I have found that Insanity makes some things in Combat much more doable. Good luck!!! emoticon emoticon
