I love running, but need motivation!

I love to run, but do not like taking time out of my busy day to workout with weights or crosstrain. I need some motivation!

The funny thing is that I'm a former personal trainer. I used to make a living out of motivating people to lift weights and crosstrain! I also taught bootcamp classes. Back then, I would weight train only because my job depended on it. I would love to look like I did then!

My Goals:
I would love to get more toned and flexible.

My Program:
I run 4 to 5 days a week.

I cross-train 1 to 2 days a week.

I am adding in two days of strength training and two days of yoga.

Personal Information:
I'm from all over, as I was a "military brat." But most of my family lives in the Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky tri-state area.

I've always loved running and playing soccer, but have never been exceptional at either. I completed my first half marathon many years ago, when I was in high school. I completed my first marathon January 2007--the Walt Disney World Marathon. In truth, I only signed up for the Disney World marathon because I wanted the Mickey Mouse medal :)

Other Information:
“The medals don't mean anything and the glory doesn't last. It's all about your happiness. The rewards are going to come, but my happiness is just loving the sport and having fun performing.” - Jackie Joyner-Kersee

Long time no see. I have been absent from the site for too long. I have picked up a lot of bad habits and I am here to get back on track. Yes I have been running and doing a little of crosstraining, but my snacks arent as healthy as they could be. So here I am. Hope you have a great Monday!! emoticon

Glad your race was fun!! My training is just beginning. I've been doing a longer run on Saturdays already, though only 8-9 miles. Tomorrow I'll do 13, nice and easy, and then next week is the official Week 1 of training. Fun fun! I'm excited!!
