I know how to do this. I've done it before. So I just have to buckle down and do it. There is no quick fix, no magic pill, no fad diet that works for me. I have to get down to the basics. Get my meal plans in order and sit down and right out my workout plan. That is all I did before and it worked. So I am a little upset with myself for wasting all this time when I already know what works for me. But I can't sit around and cry over it. It is time to get up and brush myself off and get down to ...

My name is Tamika and I live in Ohio.
Yes! You are talking me all day long. I rock them with blazer's my graphic tees and sweaters too. I love, love, love them. I think that's the best way to express your fun sassy side. They make me feel young. I love them, I don't think I'll ever get enough of them. I just need to find tees that really speaks to me. Wal-Mart has some great ones and Rue 21. And if I can get a nice tee for less than 5 dollars I'm grabbing it.
As for the shoes. Heels are killing me too. I think it's because I went full gym shoe in 2007 and I haven't been able to wear a heel like I used too since. I hate it, but I do love my wedges, that's the new heel for me. My feet are no longer loving them, but as long as it's not over 4" I'm good to go and I can get away with standing for hours in them, but if its 4" I'm screwed.
I went shopping today for hours and I found nothing that made my heart sing. Hubby could not believe it. I'm going cra-cra trying to find something that shows off my sassy fun appealing side. I guess I need to hold off on clothes. I was also wearing a pair of jeans that just didn't want to keep up with me. Falling off...but I haven't lost any more weight. I wonder what's up with that!
Who knows what's going on...I need to do Buffie's Booty workout and find a challenge that is going to push me to the max. Right now my son has me doing Sally, and Sally is toning me up, and working the hell out of my knees. I'm going to have to go get a knee brace tomorrow. I need 2. LOL!
I'm just 37 and I'm feeling the pain in both knees and my back. I'm moving like I'm 50 my father says. My husband said I'm moving slower too, but he's going to figure out a way to take care of that. I need motivation! I want to wear all white on New Year's Eve and paint the town white. These last 20+ are really kicking my butt.
And I gained 10 pounds during the holidays last year, and I've been struggling to get those 10 off. I've only gotten off 3 and I keep on struggling with the last 7. I'm making a promise to lose 10 pounds by October the 15. Wish me luck. I'm setting up deadlines on these numbers and rewarding myself if I lose more than 1 pound each month.
I won't spend over 25 dollars on each reward, but the final reward is my 135 makeover. Now I'm looking forward to that.
You like the chunky sweaters, so since I know that Iíll look for you some the next time I go out shopping. As for my shopping habits Ėitís make-up, shoes, jeans, things that shows off my body more than anything and crazy tee shirts with sayings on them and colorful ďcanvasĒ like polo shoes. I went into Roses a few months back and brought 10 pairs of shoes in one day. I was getting them for 7 and you know me I challenged a few prices and got them for 7 too when they were 15. LOL! Hey! Iíll try and if they fall for it Iím getting them. I love shoes at a great deal. Iím also falling back into the habit of wearing flats, but I need to work on my heel game. I got a ton of those heel (wedge) gym shoes, and I do plan to get at least 6 more pairs of those before January 1st. Oh, and a pair of Nike heel sneakers too. Thatís what I plan to reward myself with if I reach my goal. Kids will keep you on the go...my son was keeping me on the go with FOOTBALL but then he broke his ankle in May. We wasn't sure if it was motor cross practice or football, but it was the football. Now, he won't ride his motor bike or do any football. He's still lifting weights like crazy, but he's not risking his body. HE's just like his mom. That injury scared him. Now, I have to start doing sally up sally down with him. It's a strength training workout, and Sally is a B. I hate Sally, but I do sally to keep him happy. LOL! My son is my trainer. LOL That boy can drive me crazy. Mom you supposed to workout today. He keeps me on my toes, and he hates Shaun T. LOL!
