The New Me One Baby Step At A Time!!!!

Hi! My name is Moni and welcome to my SparkPage!!! After my second son was born, my weight was out of control. One day reading an article in a Woman's magazine there was a write-up on SparkPeople. I logged on but did not really work the program. Well one day I was fed up with being fed-up and started working the program. My heaviest weight was well over 275 lbs. At first I would drink water. Then I worked on eating fruits and veggies. I would do 10 mins of exercise daily and now I am ...
I would do 10 mins of exercise daily and now I am up to 60 mins of activity. I am also signed up for my 5th 5K!!! From Couch Potato to Walk/Jogging 5Ks!!! I know I still have more work to do but I love the way I feel!! I love that I have energy and I love that I have a smile on my face from ear to ear. If I can do it - so can you. I am working on the new me one baby step at a time. So join me on this awesome journey. You won't regret it!! Take care of yourself, Hugs, Moni :-)

Moni,
emoticon Valentine's Day gives me a reason to express the feelings, emoticon

I think about but don't say about people, who enrich my life in unique and meaningful ways.

You are this kind of person. When I think of you, my thoughts are warm, and fond,

And filled with admiration. I feel blessed to know you.

May your Valentine's Day be filled with the love and respect you deserve.

Howdy Moni! If we can’t do 1 sit-up, why set a goal to do 100 sit ups by the end of the week? Although we may have the desire to set miraculous goals, temper them with reality and tone the goals down into achievable goals…then we will reap a feeling of success instead of failure and frustration. Another new day is here! You're doing great! Keep up the hard work and sacrifices!

emoticon emoticon The week of "CHOCOLATE" has come to an end emoticon emoticon
emoticon emoticon So I decided to send you a Week's worth on this very last day! emoticon emoticon

emoticon emoticon emoticon THE CHOCOLATE LOVER'S WEEK emoticon emoticon emoticon
On MONDAY'S when I need a break, I can't resist some chocolate cake.
On TUESDAY'S I awake & dream of double chocolate chip ice cream.
WEDNESDAY'S ~ if I'm tired & frowny, I perk up with a chocolate brownie.
On THURSDAY'S, it is just no use, I have to dine on chocolate mousse.
FRIDAY'S ~ I feel so beat, I just have to have a chocolate treat.
SATURDAY'S ~ I spend in bliss with a milky bar of swiss.
And SUNDAY ~ I relax in bed, with the paper, toast & chocolate spread.

emoticon emoticon emoticon Do you think you could do without chocolate emoticon emoticon emoticon

It's super Saturday! If you've ever been late for work. Late for a date. Felt too old to change. Missed the boat/train. Fell off the wagon. Took a sabbatical. Derailed while on vacation. Bad stuff happened in life. It’s okay to be late. All LATE stands for is:

L-augh
A-t
T-he
E-xperience

Then get back on track. There’s years worth of empty days ahead to fill with good positive choices!
