Hi! My name is Moni and welcome to my SparkPage!!! After my second son was born, my weight was out of control. One day reading an article in a Woman's magazine there was a write-up on SparkPeople. I logged on but did not really work the program. Well one day I was fed up with being fed-up and started working the program. My heaviest weight was well over 275 lbs. I logged on but did not really work the program. Well one day I was fed up with being fed-up and started working the program. My heaviest weight was well over 275 lbs. I would drink water then I worked on eating fruits and veggies. I would do 10 mins of exercise and now I am up to 60 mins of activity. I am also signed up for my 5th 5K!!! From Couch Potato to Walk/Jogging 5Ks!!! I know I still have more work to do but I love the way I feel!! I love that I have energy and I love that I have a smile on my face from ear to ear. My Goals:
My Spring 2013 5% Challenge goals are: to eat at least five serviings of fruits and veggies daily; drink 8 glasses of water, keep jogging/walking daily and get 8 hours of sleep. I am staying active on a daily basis and being positive about all of my achievements. I log in my exercises, food and water.
My Program:
I, Moni, from this day forward, hereby commit to creating and maintain- ing a positive winning attitude in everything that I do. Today and everyday from now on, I promise to do my best to change all negative thoughts into positive ones, immediately. I vow to neither start, nor end any day with negative thoughts. I further agree to the following on a daily basis: 1. Prepare everyday for the opportunities I know will come. 2. Commit to improving and developing myself, mentally, physically and spiritually. 3. Manage my time wisely through the use of written goals. 4. Avoid negative thinkers and dream stealers. To define my own life and not let it be defined by others. 5. Determine to make today better than yesterday for myself and everyone I meet. 6. Be enthusiastic and be persistent toward what I want for my life. 7. Focus on things that make me happy, not things that depress me. 8. Invest in myself.
Personal Information:
I live in the Northwestern part of New Jersey. I have two boys ages 16 and 13. I am a self-taught Paralegal working with my husband.
