I lost 40 lbs when I started running 4 years ago. Pretty much just by running consistently and eating healthy foods. I started running to help with my TMJ. Running helps me in many ways and I pray I am healthy enough to do it for many many more years!
I have regained much of the weight of I lost! I could say it was all due to an injury, but it would just be excuses. I am owning my choices, good, bad and ugly ones and moving forward. As of July 29, 2013 I got up to 208.4. I will work ...

As of July 29, 2013 I got up to 208.4. I will work towards 160 lb knowing that eventually I'll get there. Even though I have ran many miles, including one full marathon in the last 3 years, I am starting anew due to two stress fractures on my tibia in Dec. 2012. I pray that starting slowly will allow me to run again without re-injury.
I'm off to work towards my goal of a healthy life.

My Goals:

I am 5'10". 42. Blessed to know Jesus as my savior and lord.
I have a great husband and kids, 10 &7. I spend my days teaching 4th & 2nd grade.
Enjoy running, reading, baking, cooking, date nights with hubby, snuggling my kiddos, exercising with my kids.

The month of November fell flat on its face. I don't think I gained too much, but I certainly didn't lose my 5 pounds for the month! The trip to my sister's house was great fun and encouragement, but not very healthy from an eating perspective. Thanks for asking! Maybe I should modify my goal and aim for "Don't gain any in December!" (Ha! ha! ha!)
