Be grateful for each moment....

I lost 40 lbs when I started running 4 years ago. Pretty much just by running consistently and eating healthy foods. I started running to help with my TMJ. Running helps me in many ways and I pray I am healthy enough to do it for many many more years!
I have regained much of the weight of I lost! I could say it was all due to an injury, but it would just be excuses. I am owning my choices, good, bad and ugly ones and moving forward. As of July 29, 2013 I got up to 208.4. I will work ...

I have regained much of the weight of I lost! I could say it was all due to an injury, but it would just be excuses. I am owning my choices, good, bad and ugly ones and moving forward. As of July 29, 2013 I got up to 208.4. I will work towards 160 lb knowing that eventually I'll get there. Even though I have ran many miles, including one full marathon in the last 3 years, I am starting anew due to two stress fractures on my tibia in Dec. 2012. I pray that starting slowly will allow me to run again without re-injury.
I'm off to work towards my goal of a healthy life.

Glad you had a special time with your mom & grandma (thats incredible she is 96 yrs!) & other friends too! Glad you are persevering--keep on! :) Ya, last week was harder with my digesting, but this week has been a lot better--weird as the past 2 days, I was eating way too much (well more than normal-still in range for body but at the very high end!). It was more I was stress eating tho, so thats what was *not* good, thankfully tho, it didn't bug my system too much (weirdly!) today I've taken it easy and have had a great day--a walk & (my first outdoor) bike ride in!!! :))) Hope you had a wonderful day? And a relaxing evening! emoticon

Thanks so much for stopping over! I see that my husband and I will get closer to each other exercising together. I also understand about the Live to Eat plan. I just could not do it. My blood sugars were not getting stable and got to high. I tried eating more plant based and my blood sugars just would not tolerate it. I went back to eating more meat. I am starting to lose weight now. I do eat some brown rice after a workout, but the rest is meat, veggies, and some low sugar fruit. Beans were just not working for me either. Oh well, live and learn. I am going back to my bodybuilding diet. Thanks for answering my question as I was just curious.
