Hey, y'all! I'm Ruby. I've been on and off of SparkPeople since 2006. I've learned SO MUCH, but I have a long history with yo-yo dieting. :/

I started gaining weight around the age of 10. Everyone in my family is overweight. I'm the youngest of 9 children and heavier than my 8 older siblings. There are many health issues in my family, from diabetes to depression to cancer to heart problems...the list goes on.

My Goals:
To get down to 150# and to become a certified personal trainer and an inspiration to other people struggling with their weight. Never lose hope!

I wanna get fit enough to be able to hike to and camp out at Havasu Falls in 2016.

My Program:
Eat healthier, drink more water, and cut down on the sweets! And find exercises that I love. Hiking, kayaking, camping, and other outdoor activities are at the top of my list!

Personal Information:
I have a beautiful home in Arizona. I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else! Except maybe Oregon. lol

My hubby and I are going to try to conceive baby #1 in early 2016, if I can get myself to a healthy weight by then.
