I am nothing special. My story isn't much different than others. I struggled, I was a heavy child, and went to college and gained. I became the heaviest I ever was (and will be). I was unhappy with myself. I was unhealthy. I choose to make a difference in my life, I struggled, it wasn't easy, but 10 years later I am the healthiest, the fitest and the happiest I have ever been. I made my choice a lifestyle, not a fad.
Food is my friend, not my enemy. The gym is not a torture chamber.
My passion now is to help others through fitness and just health in general. I am a Les Mills instructor in BodyCombat and GRIT series. I just started back to lifting heavy on my own. I eat clean, and I am extremly happy in a relationship with someone who understands me (we actually me at my gym).
I believe that it's all about you, once you come to the conclusion that you want to look good for yourself and no one else, then you can achieve that goal!
To maintain my weight. I would love to lose a little body fat, but to maintain and to motivate others is my biggest goal.
I teach fitness 3-4 days a week. When I'm not teaching, I'm practiting to make sure I'm fit enough to teach the program. I run, and lift when I find the time. I also do yoga once and week and dance (even though I don't teach it anymore)
I want to stay toned and keep up on my goal for 1 reason, my father. He gave up everything when my brother, sister and myself were born. He had dreams just as we do, and I want to live out his dream of body building for him.
