On the way to a better me...

Somehow, over the last couple of years, I've lost the fit, confident me. It began after the birth of my first son and seems to have lingered since. Before, and during, pregnancy, I remained quite active. However, after he was born, the sleep deprivation and taking care of a newborn seemed to take over my life. I was on my way back to getting in shape when I discovered I was pregnant with number two. After he was born, it was easier to justify no time for exercise (or me). I now weigh more ...

Before, and during, pregnancy, I remained quite active. However, after he was born, the sleep deprivation and taking care of a newborn seemed to take over my life. I was on my way back to getting in shape when I discovered I was pregnant with number two. After he was born, it was easier to justify no time for exercise (or me). I now weigh more than I ever have (other than when over 7 months pregnant) and want to do something about it. I want to set a better example for my kids and want to be able to do fun stuff with them as they grow, so I've joined this site to help keep me motivated.

My Program:
I'm trying to eat much healthier and to also watch how much I eat. I'd like to get more exercise in and am slowly figuring out how to put it in my schedule.
