Miracle needed!

Hi, I’m Heather! I’m 31, partially disabled with several ruptured disc in my spine. I’m a full time college student at University of Phoenix online and a full time mommy to an almost 3 year old. I am under doctors’ orders to lose weight but I am not allowed to work hard enough to break a sweat because of my spine and nerve damage. I need a miracle. Hi, I’m Heather! I’m 31, partially disabled with several ruptured disc in my spine. I’m a full time college student at University of Phoenix online and a full time mommy to an almost 3 year old. I am under doctors’ orders to lose weight but I am not allowed to work hard enough to break a sweat because of my spine and nerve damage. I need a miracle. Being home all day every day I am tempted to eat, and even eating too many carrot sticks and dip can make me over weight. I have gained back all of the 60 pounds I lost the first time I used spark PLUS 13 pounds. I don’t even own a scale now. But my fat pants and my maternity pants pants do not fit and that’s enough for me to know, that and the double chin. I need to break the snacking on chips and other carbs habit. I love salty food, but I have high blood pressure. I also am high risk for diabetes. Looking for support and someone who might know what I’m going through!

We love our carbs. My biggest downfall is pasta. Haven't been able to have one noodle in over a year now. emoticon
This past week I 've been johnsing bad. In support, my friend set every night eating pasta and shrimp, mac and cheese, and dumplings in front of me. emoticon emoticon

One night when I figured out what to do with her body. Bloodshed (her's) was short coming. I found spaghetti and zucchini squash in spaghetti sauce. It was yummy! emoticon The one serving lasted me 4 meals. emoticon

Being on a strict diet for diabetes is no fun. Nothing white or with flour. Only 15 g of carb total per meal. There are a lot of fruit and vegs. I can't have because of the sugar. Like carrots, corn, and berries. They are loaded with sugar ( and over indulgence puts on weight). The key is substitution.

Hi Heather,
Welcome to SP!
I am not sure what you are able to do, but are you able to do any type of seated exercises. I know they have a chair exercise team and there are some exercise videos geared towards seated exercise.
Just take it one day/ one step at a time.

You can do it!
