I thought about erasing this page. Starting over, fresh. RRTSMOM, has been a member since 2007! In that time I have seen 250's and 320's. I have yo-yo'd back and forth. Last time I checked in I was getting ready to start my senior year of nursing school, I was 298 and hoping to be 'smaller" for graduation. However as any nursing student can verify stress happens and I ended up gaining (my heaviest was 320).

That was a year ago, since then I have started my career as an OB nurse and well slowly gone down. Ironicly I recently weighted in (life insurance physical eeeek) at 298 again.
So instead of "starting fresh" I'm using my ups and downs as learning steps...I'm not gonna fail, I'm gonna keep trying. I WANT to succeed! I want to be able to check goals off my list...

I would love to be able to run a 5k (w/o walking)

Personal Information:
Im a mommy of 4 children. ages 16, 7, 6 and 4. I have 2 big dogs and a snobby cat that reminds me that I'm far from perfect lol.
I graduated with my BSN-RN , and hold 2 jobs. (L&D and prn in a nursing home). Finding time or MAKING time for my health is something I'm working on...baby steps

When not at work, or being a mom I like to....OH WHO AM I KIDDING... thats what I do...like I said baby steps

short term fitness goal- 5k by april

Long term goal--Hike West/East Maroon Bells trail.

Sandra, sorry to hear you had to have surgery...that is a bummer, especially since your gallbladder is healthy. But at least they found out the cause of your pain...hopefully it's an easy fix and not another surgery!

Take it easy...I have had my gallbladder removed too...not fun, this I know!
