SUCCESS!!! My goal was to lose 100 pounds. I have lost 103 pounds. I weigh 170. I haven't been this small in a very long time. It may not seem small but it is. I still have those darn chicken arms. LOL. I'm not a spring chicken and I've been large so long that if I lose any more I will look bad. I decided I will stay right where I am and my doctor agrees. I am happy, healthy and my DH and I think I look great!!

My new goal is to help others succeed in their goal to become new ...

Personal Information:
My name is Pam. I'm a Christian and have been married for 18 years and we were together 10 years before that. I have 4 grandchildren. Boy 21, girl 13, boy 5 and another boy 3. I'm Nana to all of them and I love spending as much time as possible with them.

I am disabled. It's frustrating because its only been about 3 years and I'm not used to being limited. I'm blessed because when I had back surgery it was completely successful and it stopped the majority of my pain.

Hello PAM!! Thank you for your message. I did have a wonderful thanksgiving with my family. I am glad you did too! So today was day 1 for us.... How did you do? I did pretty well. I did exercise and ate healthier than yesterday, which is great for me! I am working on eating 3 meals and 2 snacks. That is my main goal instead of eating all the time. I LOVE CHECKING IN WITH THE Weekly Challenges team. What a great team...((Very helpful)) Thank you!!! Sashay emoticon

Thank you Pam, I did have a beautiful Thanksgiving with my DH, his son and his son's girlfriend. I also spoke with my parents and although sad I wasn't able to spend it with them, I was grateful to speak with both of them. I'm happy to hear that you had a wonderful time too and glad that your DH is so close with your family.

Love to you too, and prayers that your Christmas holiday will be just as wonderful! Have an awesome week to come!

Gabi

Learn from yesterday... live for today... hope for tomorrow... The important thing is not to stop Learning... and to not give up... Keep Going... Go... Go

*~ * ~ *~ * emoticon *~*~*~ *~ emoticon *~*~*~ emoticon

Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear... If we believe that tomorrow will be better... we can bear a hardship today...

You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world's problems at once but don't ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own.

Let your hopes... not your hurts... shape your future...
