Thanks for stopping and commenting on my blog. This challenge has helped me so much - I would go my entire week that I worked and not get a lick of exercise in. Just doing for everyone else and not myself. I needed the change to get my butt in gear.

HI Roz!
Thank you so much for the goodie and stopping by to say Hi!
Hope you are well!
I had a procedure on my heart via a catheter placed in my right femoral vein on Sept 8, and I developed a blood clot 2 days later but didn't know it was a blood clot until the 16th was hospitalized for 5 days for anticoagulation therapy, and then sent home on injections and pills now on Warfarin . My home care nurse came by today for an INR/ PT check and they are low ( was 2 for the INR last week when i was taken off the injections, today the INR was down to 1.2 ) figures, I am feeling good today felt like crap on Monday mouth tingling and tons of pain, yesterday my nose bled twice , I am still all bruised from the injections that stopped a week ago yesterday, hard to believe my INR (meaning my clotting time today is down to 1.2 . I am on 10 mg of Warfarin a day for goodness sake! I just started being able to workout again on Friday, worked out then and on Saturday was so sore on Sunday I didn't workout and Monday felt horrible, yesterday rode my bike to my friend Maggie's and helped her with her twins baby boys that is 12 miles to and from . I am waiting to hear from my doctor to see if I stop exercising again. Bighugs honey.
Love PJ

Roz my friend - you are so amazing and awesome!! thanks for your support and kindness! you know I will always be the best cheerleader possible and I'm hoping he actually wants to try. only time will tell - but I do think he is on the right path.

so glad you took a moment to say hello - know you are thought of often - it's funny how fast time flies and slips right on by - I have the best intentions and somehow in the end I seem to fall a bit short - but I do what I can and in the end have to call it good enough - miss you my friend - continue to take care of you and know if you ever need an ear - I'm always just a fingertip (typing) away. stay strong and continue to be you! and in my book that is awesome!

HI Roz, thank you for the compliment, I would have loved to have seen you on my trip too, had thought about making the trip 3 weeks but glad I didn't since hurricane IRENE decided to show up the week which would have been my 3rd week up there. Maybe next summer, I have fallen in love with New England in the summer. The price to fly up to Providence is only about 200$ round trip , cheaper than flying into Boston from here. and from there I have found it is easy to travel by bus or train in different directions to my various friends. I have about 25 more pounds to go to goal or so it varies from day to day , put on a few pounds on vacation. I won't be able to workout hard for awhile if they do the ablation next week . But you know me I will hang in there.
Love you!
PJ

Hi Roz!
Big hugs,
Strange I am not scared of the procedure. People keep saying scary maybe I should be. Winking at you.
Big hugs.
PJ
