Learning to Run Again

I started Spark over a year ago and slowly lost steam. Recently one of my best friends had a baby and we were talking about getting back into shape. I said that my ultimate fitness goal is to run a 5k and she immediately jumped on board! I had started a Runner's World 5k program, but found it a bit difficult with my asthma. I also have a personal goal set because my boyfriend and I are planning on being engaged before the year ends--so I want to look my best not only for myself, but for my pictures that will last forever. I've set goals based on my dedication to fitness and am determined to get back on track.

Sticking to the Rookie 5k Program and cross training on "off days".

Integrate strength training into my workout.

Learning what healthy food looks like and that I can still have variety in my meals without sacrificing flavor.

Keeping with my 1200-1500 calorie diet.

I'm from Michigan, but my boyfriend and I are looking to move abroad.
