Back on Track

Time to set a new goal.

I love to hike, but I'm severely out of shape. I've gained 20 lbs. since I met my husband, and I'm not very happy about that. He's gained a lot more than I have, but has a harder time getting motivated to lose weight than I do. Maybe if I can get started he will join me. :)

I feel like 2016 is going to be a high energy year. I'm already feeling the energy right now in December, which has spurred me into joining Planet Fitness. They have a 30 minute circuit training session that I really enjoy, and I have met with the fitness trainer, who has put me on a plan I think I can stick to.

My ultimate goal is to lose 36 lbs., so that my final weight will be 145 lbs. I feel that a perfect weight for my height.

Crossing my fingers in hopes this time I will have the determination and discipline to stick with it for the long haul.

Personal Information:
I am married living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have led a mostly sedentary lifestyle and I really wish it wasn't. I really want to be outdoors more and go hiking. Maybe camping. I want to be able to hike for miles and miles and not be overly winded and have my body crash for the rest of the day after only a few hours. I want to eat healthier, and feel better about myself.

I'm glad I can be of help! As for kickboxing, my gym doesn't offer it either so I usually follow a Sparkpeople kickboxing video or look up others on youtube. I'm glad there is a part of your circuit that provides something for you too. :)
