LIVING A SPARKLING LIFE!

Hi! My name is Rose & I've been Sparking for a while now! My weight was at 230 when I became serious about my health & well being. I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 2010 & was put on Metformin. I joined SparkPeople in an attempt to lose the weight & become healthier. My weight has fluctuated, but I'm around 165 now, thanks to SP & it's wonderful community! Currently, I'm not on any Diabetes medication & my HgA1C is 5.3! I exercise daily & am mindful of what I'm putting in my mouth! Hey, we CAN do this! One day at a time, we CAN!!!

Hello! Name is Rose! Struggling a bit these last few weeks & haven't been tracking like I know I must! Getting back to the basics is what's needed! I'm still down almost 25 pounds since I started w/WW's & I need to recommit, track my foods, & stay within caloric range! I'm exercising daily & plan to continue! My most recent love is spinning!!! Lovin' SparkPeople!!! Lovin' the community!!! Go fellow Sparkers!!!

Hi! Rose here! Since I've restarted my weight loss efforts, I've lost 29.2 lbs doing Weight Watchers! I track both on SparkPeople & I'm using the etools on WW's. Tracking has been the key for me...& I realize I will ALWAYS have to be mindful of what I put in my mouth! I exercise daily & plan to continue! I adore the SP community & the support of so many wonderful people! SparkPeople is awesome!

Hello! My name is Rose & I've been on SparkPeople for two years! I lost almost 70 pounds when I first joined. I've strayed for a while...& have gained a little over 30 lbs back. How? Not by not exercising, cause I do plenty! I stopped tracking! Yep! Simple as that! So, I'm back on track! SparkPeople works! The community is wonderful! Let the games begin!!!

Hi Rose,

Yes, I did move heavy furniture by myself. And yes, I was very dangerous when it came to shelving. I was rearranging all my shelving in the computer room and they are stackable. I won't try to explain the reason for the rearranging of shelves, but when it came to stacking the top shelves, I had to climb up to the second rung and hold onto the solid wood shelving and then get them matched exactly so the grooves would fit.

Yes, the entire time I was praying....and....saying to myself: This isn't going to sound good in the emergency room when I have to explain what I was doing.

Ahhh...the muscles were bulging....they eyes were bulging....
You get the picture of the 72-year-old idiot, right?

Rose, ghostly greetings! Carve out your day with positivity. Rattle your bones with exercise activities. Brew your cauldron with healthy menu potions. Have a TERROR-ific and BOO-tiful Halloween!

I'm wishing you frightfully fun from my sparkpage to yours.
I embrace you with monster hugs for Halloween night.
BEWARE to avoid the awakened Spirits cemetery tours.
As this year brings haunted houses, ghoulish costumes and screaming delight.

The brewing cauldrons are overflowing with healthy potions galore.
"Hang around for a spell!" the witches will cackle.
Bats flying, spider webs spinning and creepy crawlers soon join the horror.
Let's just hope, the rattling skeletal bodies do not unshackle.

Hours away, the spooktacular fun will be here.
It is October 31st, I send you this haunting greeting.
Be sure to watch for costumed children to appear.
Wishing you a BOO-tiful Halloween of trick-or-treating!
