This is my little helper. Can you believe he is already 15 months old?

This is a picture of my husband and I standing in a pair of his big pants. We're both at our goals!

Hello and welcome to my sparkpeople webpage! I've been married for 11 years and things are going well. My husband and I both struggled with being obese our whole lives and tried many diets and ways of losing weight. Nothing worked until we found Sparkpeople. It took us a year, but In 2008 both my husband and I finally reached our goals - I lost 110 pounds and he lost 185 pounds! I also was able to get pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in April of 2009.

After Jacob was born, I took a bit of a hiatus. Then in 2010, I had just started to lose the baby weight I had gained from the first child when I found out I was pregnant again. We had a beautiful baby girl in June of 2011. I came back to sparkpeople again to try and lose the weight. After another year, I once again got pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby at the end of February 2014.

We still watch what we eat and are constantly working on making ourselves better. Once again I am back trying to get to my original goal of 150. After 3 children, I have just over 40 pounds to go to get back to that weight so I can finally enjoy the cute clothes I bought at the end of the initial weight loss. Here we go! Let's see if I can get there before I get pregnant again.

My Goals:
I am back to get rid of the 50 pounds of baby weight after having my 3 kids. I also want energy to play with them and to make my knees stop hurting so much. I'm shooting for 170 (out of obesity) by November and then 150 for my long term goal.

My Program:
I attend a gym 2 days a week and do zumba or elliptical. I am mostly just working on my eating right now since that has been the hardest for me since having kids.

Other Information:
I love to go fishing whenever possible, and I like playing games on my phone or reading a book when I get a few minutes of alone time.

Hi Paula - Your comment on WI today amused me. It sounds like my place. My Computer is in my bdrm and my DD built me a big shelving area that is full of mostly computer STUFF which most of it should go.
This Clearing the Clutter is going to be quite a challenge.

I might not have 3 kids but I have 2 very messy birds. Destructive too. I just gave Oliver a new toy with wooden blocks. Half of them are already chewed into kindling wood.

I just read the comment below too. 3 strikes only counts in our baseball challenge, unless I can come up with a new game.

I have no idea what the next challenge is going to be. My immediate thought right now is something about gardening. Mmmmmmmm, gotta think on that one a bit.

Have a good day emoticon emoticon Need to go do something constructive. MA

I see we both had a small gain. Too bad the game is not set up to be called a struck. Three struck a and you are out. I may have to suggest that to Ma. Lets keep pushing forward. I got back to the gym today. My muscles know it too! Blessings on your week! June emoticon emoticon emoticon

Looks like we both did OK this week! emoticon After I had the bug two other people at my house got it. I also was busy making 10 large and 6 small Irish soda breads. Sunday the 89 year old sister that I live with was having shortness of breath and heaviness in chest. We were in the ER from 7:30 pm to 12:45 a.m. She was admitted for observation. Her test came out OK and she came home this evening. I am hoping to get a good sleep tonight! emoticon
