Doing it right this time!

I'm a 43 year old stay at home mom to 2 beautiful boys, ages 10 and 7, and wife to an amazing man who loves me unconditionally. I recently went in to see the doctor for my yearly checkup only to be told I am on the verge of developing Type 2 Diabetes if I don't do something about my weight. The truth is I've been 'trying' for years...just not 'doing'. Now I see my whole future before me and I don't want a huge part of that to be spent sticking my finger and checking blood sugars several ...

My Goals:
Lose 20 pounds by May 31st-Accomplished early!

Be at 285 by June 24, 2012 (my birthday!)-Accomplished!!

Be at 260 by the time we return to school-August 14, 2013

My Program:
Keeping calories between 1300 and 1600 per day with focus on vegetarian whole foods. Drinking my 8 cups of water per day (at least). Excercise for at least 30 minutes (cardio) 5 days a week, strength training 3 days a week.
