I'm almost 34 years old, an ex-suburbanite living (since 2005) with my small family on our "mini-farm" in semirural central Ohio. I reached my all-time high weight of 245 in winter 2006. My weight has been gradually creeping up over the years - 160 after high school, 175 when married, 190 when conceived the twins, and up and up from there. My goal is to reach my high school weight of 140; which is still higher than the "recommended" weight on charts, but I think is ideal for my build.

Fitness Minutes: 70

My Goals:
My main goal is to reach my personal healthy weight - 135-140 pounds - by summer 2009. (Sooner would be even better, but I want to emphasize to myself that this must be a lifestyle change, not a "diet.")
I want to be able to be active in my children's play. I want to be healthy so that I can be there for my family.

My Program:
Just starting out, I'm still exploring my options. I'm using the SP nutrition tracker to be sure I stay within my calorie range. The keystone of my nutritional plan really is just to avoid fast food!
I plan to work out with a resistance band for strength training, and/or possibly to join the local Curves.

Personal Information:
I live near Circleville, Ohio, on about 9 acres, with my husband of 7 years and our 3-year-old twins (girl and boy). We are still feeling our way into the self-sufficient lifestyle we want. We keep goats for milk, and are starting a laying flock for eggs. We have a small garden that will be dramatically increasing in size this year.
