15 months maintaining - and I have decided to step away from spark people. Whilst SP has taught me so much, I know it is time to get off the computer and start living my real life more fully.
I might check in from time to time - but certainly not every week.
Thanks for all my spark buddies - and everyone in the spark community who helped me get to this point.

Intuitive Eating
After tracking fairly religiously for almost 17 months, and maintaining for 11 months (Since Nov 16 2011) I have decided to stop tracking my food.
Tracking helped me learn so much - but I also forgot much. Forgot to trust my body to determine what it needs. Forgot that I know what a healthy diet is. I now know about portions and calories - so I feel well armed to try a freer approach to food.

& aim for 1200 exercise minutes per month

From now on, my goal is to shine.
Exercise and healthy eating has improved my energy levels, and the mild depression I suffered has quietened down. So there is nothing to hold me back!

I've come to the same place in my healthy journey as your have and have begun practicing the principles of mindful eating since the beginning of the year. I have stopped tracking and am using the nutrition notes to log what food I eat, when and what my hunger level was before eating and satiety after eating. So far so good!

Thanks for commenting on my blog and sharing in my excitement about getting my period back and starting fertility treatments! :) I start my injections tomorrow, so hopefully there'll be a mini-ILIKETOZUMBA in the works within the month! And if not this month, then maybe next month! (But hopefully this month...LOL this stuff ain't cheap! Nor am I patient!) And like nothing else before, actual tangible progress (in terms of getting my period) and starting treatment is helping me be TRULY okay with downgrading the exercise, so yay! I mean, I sat on my butt in the doctor's office for like an hour straight today, and didn't worry about being sedentary - I was like, this is rest that I need to make and keep a baby! This is good! I'm planning a greatly-reduced jog for tomorrow. I am feeling more at peace than I have in MONTHS.
